PvE Rogue Solo Template (Warcraft cheats)

This paragraph is the exact same text for all my solo and group PvE templates, so after you read this once you can just skip it for other classes. These are my templates for what I consider the best viable templates for PvE purposes ONLY. A solo template is assuming that you never plan on grouping. A group template assumes that you are in a group 100% of the time, such as end game instances. I have also been asked to provide info on what skills should be taken at which levels, this is really difficult as it would depend on exact individual play styles. However, I put a number in parenthesis before each skill, this number is the level that I would take the skill at, of course this is extremely prejudiced because it is based on my own play style. Of course if you think you have a better template please share it with us.

The WOW pvp system awards time and not skill, so if you don't have 12 hours a day for PVP'ing, going for exalted with one of the factions in the battlegrounds, will most likely get you better results gear-wise. The advantage of going for exalted with the BG factions is that your reputation gains aren't reliant on others, as it is with the PVP system, so you can gain rep when you want and it doesn't decay.

There are 3 battlegrounds; Alterac Valley (AV), Arathi Basin (AB) and Warsong Gulch (WG).

Warsong Gulch
Warsong Gulch is 10 vs 10 capture the flag. The games themselves are bracketed in the usual brackets (10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60) and the reputation scale to the lvl.

Horde gains repuation with Warsong Outriders and Alliance gain it with Silverwing Sentinels.

Reputation gains are as follows (WOWwiki.com)

Quote: Honor Rewards
The game awards bonus honor to everyone on your side of the match for reaching certain goals. Those goals are:

capturing the opponents flag, rewards 396 honor (at level 60)
winning the match, rewards 198 honor (at level 60)
Honor for lower level matches scales down from the amounts given. Other scored events are not granted honor. These include: killing blows, picking up the opponent's flag, and returning your flag to your base. Honor is awarded for honorable kills as normal.

Winning a complete match (3 captures and the win bonus) gives you 1386 honor (at level 60). It also awards you 3 marks of honor. Turning in the quest for 3 marks of honor is worth an additional 396 honor points.

Losing a complete match (0 captures and a loss) gives you no bonus honor. The only honor you will accumulate will come from honorable kills. You will receive 1 mark of honor at the end of a loss, so you can still collect 3 and turn in the quest as given above.

During the Warsong Gulch Battlegrounds Holiday, you will earn double reputation bonus for each flag captured on your team. The winning team will earn an additional 990 bonus honor (at level 60) for completing the match, in addition to the usual 198 bonus. The losing team will earn 594 bonus honor at the end of the match. Thus a 3-0 match will award a total of 2376 honor to the winners, and 594 honor to the losers during the holiday.

Reputation
Flag Capture - 35 reputation for entire team (10 extra reputation on a Battlegrounds Holiday for a total of 45).
3 Marks of Honor - 50 reputation, or 100 reputation if done through Concerted Efforts or For Great Honor quests.

As can be seen, in this BG you really need to win, to be able to rep up properly. Therefore it's one of the more difficult ones (as opposed to AV), to rep up consistently. Pray your side is good :)

Exalted rewards
These are the lvl 60 rewards. There are also epic rewards for the 40-49 and 50-59 bracket. Check http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/basics/factions/warsong/index.html for all the rewards.

You can successfully drop a trap while in combat. Testing this should only require 10-15 seconds as it is not "Maybe it will work" thing, it is extremely easy to pull off, just hit the macro three or four times in a row.

enjoy :)

(this was given to me from a friend, i dont know where the original content is from but did not see it posted here….edited to make shadowwhisper happy)

This is another way to up your weapon skills in a short amount of time and without any difficulty… I dont know if already have been posted, but here it goes anyway. :)

It's very simple… your just need to go in an instance than the level is enough lower than yours. You can do it in group but alone is better for the evolution of your weapon skill. Then you fight mobs with the weapon class you want to up and you don't die because the mobs in the instance are really lower than your level. I know you will not earn XP from monsters but you will can easily up your weapon skills and also, if you do it alone, you will be able to collect all the money and the items(green and +) because you will be the only one in the instance lol.

For example… A few days ago, I went to do RFK with a character level 48 and my weapon skills reached 220-230/240 really quick and easily. Plus, I collected all the green and higher drops and sold them on the Orgrimmar AH. I made golds and golds, plus the amount of silvers I collected from the mobs in the instance.

What you need to do is to find an instance enough lower level than your level and you go to do it… alone!
…This is my first "real strategy" post and I hope it will be able to help you.
I wish you a good weapon skill grinding !

After spending hours of harvesting reputation to get to Exalted I thought I would share my experiences and what I consider the best way to get to exalted. The first thing I will recommend is never turning in Scourgestones or use Argent Dawn Valor Tokens until you are more than 50% through Revered. The best way to get reputation is at follows:

Neutral through to Friendly (50%)
Kill any undead mob within the WPL and EPL area.

Friendly (50%) through to Honoured (50%)
Kill any elite undead mob in WPL, EPL or in the instances.

Honoured (50%) through to Revered (50%)
Kill undead bosses.

Revered (50%) to Exalted
Turn in Sourgestones, cleanse the cauldron and Healthy Scales.

EXPLANATION OF HOW

Cleansing the Cauldron
To cleanse the cauldron you have to have completed all parts of the 'Target:' quests given out by High Priestess MacDonnell in Chillwind Camp.
Using your Vitreous Focuser collect Ectoplasmic Resonators off the corpses of the undead around 'Gahrron's Withering Cauldron'. The reason why you cleanse 'Gahrron's Cauldron' over and over again is because it has a higher reputation reward. You will also be collecting scourgestones but please keep these till you are pasted 1/2 through Revered with the Dawn. Once you collect 4x Ectoplasmic Resonators, 4x Runecloth go to Alchemist Arbingto in Chillwind Camp and buy 1x Arcane Quickener. Then go back to the cauldron and use it. Doing this will give the player 25 (27-28 if Human) reputation points with the Argent Dawn. I would collect around 80x Ectoplasmic Resonators at a time and cleanse the cauldron twenty times. This quest can be done over and over again. However the 'Arcane Quickeners' cost money, 45 silver. The runecloth is picked up off the corpses of the undead mobs, and you usually have more than you need.

Using only the Cauldron quest to gain reputation from Revered (50%) to Exalted you will need all of the following:

1680x Ectoplasmic Resonators
1680x Runecloth
420x Arcane Quickener (Total cost: 189 gold (PvP Rank 3: 168 gold))

Scourgestones
Most undead mobs in WPL, EPL and the instances drop Scourge Stones of some kind. Collect these stones and put them in your bank. They will stack to 250 so you shouldn't run out of space. As the reputation gains become harder after you get passed 50% in Revered I would keep them to use then. You will get 25 (27-28 if Human) points of reputation for each turn in of 20x Minion's Scourgestones, 10x Invader's Scourgestones, and 1x Corruptor's Scourgestones. However, the Argent Dawn quests at Revered and Exalted require some tokens (Revered: 10, Exalted: 25) so you will have to spend some for those quests. Once you turn in the stones you might as well use the tokens to gain addition reputation.

Amounts of ScourgeStones needed to get to Exalted from Revered (50%):

Minion's Scourgestones: 4200*
Invader's Scourgestones: 2100*
Corruptor's Scourgestones: 210*

*These figures include spending the Valour Token reward from turning in the stones.

Healthy Dragon Scales
This quest is from picking up Healthy Dragon Scales from within Scholomance off of Plagued Hatchlings and returning them to Betina Bigglezink at Lighthopes Chappel in EPL. Each scale is a quest itself, start the quest and then talk to Betina Bigglezink. You can carry as many of these scales as you can. The drop rate of these scales is low as the prereg quest is Plagued Hatchlings and that isn't done by many people. Each scale gives the player 50 (55 for Humans) reputation points with the Argent Dawn.

Total number of scales needed from Revered (50%) to Exalted: 210

Since the 1.11 patch there are more options for getting to exalted.

Turning in the repeatable quests for the different collectiable items:

For insignia of the crusade turn-ins:
crypt fiend parts
bone fragments

For insignia of the dawn turn-ins:
savage frond
cores of elements
dark iron scraps

gets you 10 rep with AD each turn-in of 30.

At Revered, turning in 7 each of the insignias of the dawn and crusade
will get you one of the superior armaments of the dawn (I would take the 18 slot bag) You also get 100 ad rep. for first turn in.
So, not only do you get an 18 slot bag, but you get 380 ad rep total with it.

You can repeat this 6 times for each of the unique items, for a total AD rep
of 2280

The epic line takes 45 insignias of each to turn in for an item. If you turn in all 6 of those, you get 5400 AD rep.

So, for 9360 bone/crypt items (and 9360 of the others), you can get 7680 AD rep, a nice bag, and some shardable stuff.

As with most of my strategies, I look for "off the beaten path" type of money makers. This one is no diffrent.

We will call this one…

"Please feed the twinks."

Twinking is very popular right now with the hot spots being the 10-19 WSG and 20-29 WSG. This guide will focus on the 10-19 WSG twink crowd. Farming blues can be not only difficult because most useful ones are world drops but plain boring as hell. This guide will show you how to make it as painless as possible.

The Strat

By far the highest concentration of kick ass twink gear is found in Shadowfang Keep. Both caster and melee items that are BoE and in the 16-19 range can be found here off any of the trash mobs inside. The holy grail of twink weapons is the assassin's blade.
http://thottbot.com/?i=12802
Rogues wet themselves for one of these and will pay upwards of 150g for one. It's the single best dagger for that level and if you drop say firey (for the budget twinks) or crusader (the fat wallets) on it and you are a machine on par with the 20-29 crowd. That's why its so popular. Sadly, I GAVE this to a guildie before I became aware of it's value. I just figured it was a decent blue dagger and since I was a 60 rogue, didn't have any use for it.

Not a dagger rogue??? How about this 1 hand sword…
http://thottbot.com/?i=11366
Again, sword rogue heaven. This in your main with assassin's in your off…WOW!

But Cowboy, I'm not a rogue… /cry Fear not.
Here's is the warrior's version of the assassin's blade.
http://thottbot.com/?i=12599

I personally sold one of these for 60g. Gave the other to my warrior. Again, drop a crazy 300 level enchant on it ON TOP of the nice proc and you've got a death stick to be proud of.
Slightly lower in the food chain but still a nice proc is this.
http://thottbot.com/?i=11109
Another nice 2 hander for a warrior or a pally.

If for some reason you want to carry a shield (I dunno why) and need a heavy hitting 1 hander try this (also great for hunters).
http://thottbot.com/?i=11691
This is aonther one I've personally sold. I set the buyout at 35g and it went in less then 2 hours. Probably could have gotten more but oh well. Looks cool as hell too.

Casters kinda get the hose in SFK but there are a few nice BoEs for you guys too.

This is mainly for the stats and a lock would enjoy this much me thinks…
http://thottbot.com/?i=9069

Not exactly what you want in WSG but the intel is very high for the level.
http://thottbot.com/?i=11136
Yeah, that says NEGATIVE 5 stamina

That's ALOT of specific level blues in 1 place and all are BoE. The drop rates are low just like any blue item but the mob density and relative small size of the instance makes it much nicer then grinding world mobs hoping for a specific item. Also, if youre an enchanter, all the boss blues DE into large glowing shards which sell for about 1g. I average about 3-5 blues (BoP) per run and anywhere from 6-15 green drops that I can sell on the AH from 50s to 1g50s depending on the item. That means I'm making about 8-16g for around 30-45 minutes work. If a twink item drops then it's a whole diffrent story.

Good luck and happy twinking!

Here is a list of mobs/areas which you can farm for gold extremely efficiently!

You can farm the stockades in Stormwind City for easy greens and wool + linen cloth. This is THE BEST dungeon/instance to farm wool cloth because every other kill yields 3-5 pieces of wool and there are about 100 npcs in this instance. A stack of wool can go from 77silver to 2 World Of Warcraft Gold on the AH. You can do the math.

You can farm scarlet monastary chests and locked chests for the chance to get large knapsacks (sells for 1.25-2 world of warcraft gold) or a BLUE item. I roughly get a blue item once every 11th locked chests. If you focus on the graveyard, library, and armory (NOT CATHEDRAL), then you can easily get about 8 locked chests an hour, and about 10 regular chests. Need a rogue to lockpick or take blacksmithing and use Golden Skeleton Keys (requires 150 blacksmith skill).

You can farm furlbogs in southern map of Felwood for 1-3 pieces of mageweave every 3.5th kill. About 40 npcs in the area. Easily can make 100 mageweave an hour and 9 World of Warcraft Gold an hour off coin drops, for a total of 20-27 World of Warcraft Gold an hour.

You can farm Zul'Farrak outside in Tanaris zone for 2-5 pieces of mageweave every 3rd kill. About 40 npcs spread around that region. Can easily make 5 World of Warcraft Gold an hour off coin drops and 80 mageweave an hour and sell that on the auction house for 10 World of Warcraft Gold.

You can farm western plaguelands at the felstone field and field next to it for easy 25 World of Warcraft Gold an hour, traveller backpacks that sell from 15-27 World of Warcraft Gold an hour, and 1-3 pieces of runecloth every 5th kill. You can easily make a total of 60-120 gold an hour if you grind fast and it is not camped (which usually it isn't). Both farmsteads have about 60 npcs or 80npcs. Plenty for everyone.

Farm the center of thelsamar. There is an island full of troggs that are level 13-15 called stone splinters that drop 1-3 cloth every 3rd kill. Drops a green every 10th kill.

Farm the south of thelsamar to kill level 9-11 troggs that drop 1-3 cloth every 5th kill. Drops a green every 10th kill.

Can farm Whelplings on the east side of badlands in lelthor ravine. They drop "Dark Whelpling" which can sell for 35-200gold on the auction house. They make great companions and gold generation.

You can farm ShadowFangKeep south of The Supulcher south of the Undercity. They also drop the Horde equivalent of 3-5 wool cloth per kill and 3-5 linen cloth. There are about 300 npcs here. You can make about 5 World of Warcraft Gold an hour off coin drops and another 20 World of Warcraft Gold off greens and Wool Cloth sales on AH.

Can grind ragefire caverns in Orgrimmar (horde only or suicidal alliance) for 3-5 linen cloth 80% of the time off humanoids, and massive amounts of low level greens. Some greens sell on the ah for 1-2 World of Warcraft Gold each to twinks. A green drops roughly every 7th kill.

You can farm normal rock elementals in the south, middle edge of The Badlands zone (nestled in a small valley). They drop a lot of grey loot that vendors for 50silver to 1.5 World of Warcraft Gold and drop it every other kill. They also drop ELEMENTAL EARTH which sells on the ah for 1-3 World of Warcraft Gold A PIECE. Average drop of the earths is 1 out of 17.

Can farm greater obsidian elementals in the middle of Searing Gorge zone. They drop an elemental earth every 20th kill and an essence of earth every 33rd kill. You can easily get 3 essences and 5 elemental earth's an hour, and resell them for a whopping 70 World of Warcraft Gold or more.

Can kill level 53-54 toxic horrors in felwood on the middle top area of the map, west of the alliance flight path for essence of waters every 18th kill. These essences of water sell for 7-20 World of Warcraft Gold each.

Can kill level 55-58 undead in eastern plaguelands for essence of water that drop every 33rd kill. While this isn't a good ratio, there are hundreds of these. Concentrate on the middle of the map where you can find Plague Monstrosity, Plague Ravager, Blighted Surge, Discordant Surge, and Blighted Horrors. These essences of water sell for 7-20 World of Warcraft Gold each.

Can farm Living blaze level 54-55 for Essence of fire every 50th kill in Un'Goro crater. Level 53-54 Scorching Elementals in Un'Goro crater for Essence of fire every 20th kill. Sell the essence of fire for 7-20 World of Warcraft Gold on the auction house, each.

Can kill entropic Beasts in the middle part of felwood for essence of fire every 100th kill. Not great but if you want an uncamped spot… Sell the essence of fire for 7-20 World of Warcraft Gold on the auction house, each.

Can kill Dust Stormers in Silithus for essence of airs on the entire top side of the map that drop every 70th kill. Can kill Whirling Invaders that spawn from the event for essence of airs that drop every 20th kill. Can kill level 58 Cyclone Warriors for essence of airs that drop every 30th kill in the middle to bottom part of silithus. Sell these essence of airs for 15-30 World of Warcraft Gold each due to higher rarity.

You can farm elemental slaves on the west side of Alterac mountains (horde only) for the chance to get elemental earths (1 out of 15 kills). Goes for 1-3 World of Warcraft Gold a piece on Auction House.

Can farm elemental exiles on the southwest area of Arathi Highlands for elemental earths. Same 1-3 World of Warcraft Gold per earth on AH.

Can farm Dabryie's farm in Arathi Highlands (horde only) for 30 npcs of 2-6 silver each on 3-5 minute spawn timers. Often times not camped. Easily can generate 1-5 World of Warcraft Gold an hour, more if you are an AOE class.

Can farm Go'Shek farm in Arathi Highlands (alliance only) for 30-40 npcs of 2-6 silver each on 3-5 minute spawn timers. Often times not camped. Easily can generate 1-5 World of Warcraft Gold an hour, more if you are an AOE class.

You can area of effect the scarlet monastery graveyard (in Tristfall glades northeast corner of map) for a good 2silver - 6 silver per kill. An aoe class can easily farm and reset the instance for a good 30-60 World of Warcraft Gold an hour.

You can farm warpwoods and deadwoods (funny, walking tree treant guys) for 2-10 silver, rare herb drops that sell for 1-5 World of Warcraft Gold EACH, major healing potions (sells for 1-1.5 World of Warcraft Gold each on my server), and Living Essences (sells for 8-14 World of Warcraft Gold EACH on AH!). The warpwoods are located on the north side of Felwood zone near the alliance flight path person. The deadwoods are located just southwest of where the warpwoods are. I made an easy 40-80 World of Warcraft Gold an hour depending on AH prices with my 60 PALADIN. If you have any other faster dps class, you can EASILY get DOUBLE the World of Warcraft Gold per hour I got (I should've rolled a different class…. *cries*).

You can farm twilight hammer elites in Searing Gorge. They are located JUST WEST of the alliance/horde flightpoints. You can easily get 3-5 mageweave cloth per drop and about 2silver-16 silver per kill, with 9/10 silver being the most common drop of coin. Easily can make 10 World of Warcraft Gold per hour off coin drops and 5-20 World of Warcraft Gold per hour off the green and mageweave drops.

You can farm The Stockades elites located in Stormwind City for decent low level silvers and 3-5 wool cloth per drop on kill. A stack of 20 wool sells for 1-1.15 World of Warcraft Gold on my server.

You can farm Dustwallow Marsh dragonkin elites (forgot name) on the south side of the map. They are actually Onyxia's guards but they are low level 41-43 gold elites. They drop a nice 3silver - 12silver on kill and can be skinned for medium and heavy leather(not sure on heavy but it might happen i think, i know medium is confirmed). They also drop the occasional 3-5 mageweave cloth. Easily can earn at least 30 World of Warcraft Gold an hour.

You can farm Alterac Mountain ruins Ogre elites for easy, quick cash (located in middle of the map). THey are level 37-40. They drop a moderate amount of greens and once every 110th kill a blue item will drop, potions every 15th kill, and about 3-10 silver each kill. Don't forget to go inside the unbroken buildings because a named Ogre Elite resides in each one. Watch out for mel'gore the miser wandering patrol. I easily earned 40 World of Warcraft Gold an hour.

Then there is the ultimate, the Wetlands zone. On the east side of the map leading to and near Grim Batol are level 58-60 dragonkin elites. Some of these guys drop up to FORTY-FIVE (45!!!) silver on kill! My paladin dps sucks too much to make this worth while but any dps class will love this place. It's also virtually uncamped. Just watch out for the named elite dragons that roam but they are *very* easy to avoid since they're so big, walk so slow, and you can pull your mobs away from his patrol path and not get agro. This area can potentially make you 45-80 World of Warcraft Gold an hour.

Then there's the classic Hearthglen (north side, middle, of western plaguelands) elites of 55-57. They drop up to 33 silver but they hit my 4000armor plate for 150-200 damage and have about 7000 hp. It's also somewhat camped but generally is less camped than most other high end elites - you can easily find a spot of elites and safely solo if you pull correctly.

There's also Tyr's Hand located in the southeast corner of EASTERN plaguelands. These are 53-54 elites but hit for 220 on my 4000 armor plate. They also drop up to about 30 silver and rare items but it's often camped a lot.

Powerleveling Guide (World of Warcraft addons)

I recently lost an account because Blizzard mistakenly thought I was running a bot program when, in fact, I was playing in a scaled VNC window at 2 frames/sec. They wouldn't listen and didn't care, so I went and started a new account to try to regain my level 60 priest.

First time around it took about 5 months to get to 60 in casual playing. This time it took about 3 weeks of intensive leveling and I thought I would post what I did for others:

1. Do as many red quests as you possibly can. Don't worry about the difficulty. Red quests done quickly give the best XP (sometimes 6000 or more).
2. Have a guildy or two help you blow through those red quests. The key here is fast.
3. Find areas that you can "grind" XP. This is the worst part. It is crucial that you do this alone, not in groups. No matter what anyone says, grinding alone gets you much more XP than any other method. I did this by turning off all sound in the game, throwing a good DVD or recorded TV show up on my second monitor and just runing around in about the same area killing as much and as fast as possible. Try to find that point at which you can continuously kill stuff without having to break for mana drinks or health regens.

I know this sounds boring, and it really is. I've read a lot of "1-60 in 2 days" posts that are simply false. I think this is the only real way of being able to get to 60 in any reasonable time. By the way, time played for my character when I hit 60 was about 12 game-days total.

From 50-60 my average xp/hr was about 22k and I did 1-2 levels a day easily.

I hope this helps!
